The staff were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to assist me during my stay. They were incredibly friendly and even refunded me when unsure about a charge. The venue was cheap and surprisingly spacious, with the whole place to myself when the coffee shop closed. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the train/bus station and surrounded by restaurants. The accommodation had everything I needed, including a private room, both Japanese and regular toilets, a kitchen, and a washing machine. The owner was also super accommodating, allowing early check-in and storage of my bags. Excellent value for money!

guesthouse ogawaya in tanabe was even better than my previous stay! private room, spacious, and the whole house to myself. close to train station, tourist agency, and restaurants. helpful host, tips, and early check-in. highly recommended for kumano kodo adventure.

My stay at Guesthouse Ogawaya was exceptional. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the train and bus stations, as well as tourist information and a variety of restaurants.
